THE LAWS AS TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LI-
CENSES IN ALLEGANY COUNTY AND RELATING
GENERALLY TO THE SALE AND DISPOSITION OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES THEREIN.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 27 (a) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages",
sub-title "Local Licenses and License Provisions", be and

it is hereby repealed and that Sections 19 (b) and 21 (b)
of said Article, sub title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses",
be and they are hereby repealed and re enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

THAT SECTIONS 9 (B), 14 (B), 19 (B), AND 27 (A)
OF ARTICLE 2B OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF
MARYLAND (1951 EDITION), TITLE "ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES", SUB-TITLES "BEER LICENSES",
"BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSES", "BEER, WINE
AND LIQUOR LICENSES" AND "LOCAL LICENSES
AND LICENSE PROVISIONS", BE AND THE SAME
ARE HEREBY REPEALED; THAT SECTIONS 9 (K),
14 (L), 16 (I), 19 (L), AND 21 (B) OF SAID ARTICLE
AND SUB-TITLES BE AND THE SAME ARE HEREBY
REPEALED AND RE-ENACTED, WITH AMEND-
MENTS; THAT SECTION 16 (A-1) BE AND THE
SAME IS HEREBY ADDED TO SAID ARTICLE, SUB-
TITLE "BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSES", SAID
NEW SECTION TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER
SECTION 16A THEREOF AND ALL TO READ AS
FOLLOWS:

(b) (Allegany County. In Allegany County the annual

fee for such license shall be [Six] Five Hundred Dollars

[$600. 00] ($500. 00).

(b) (Allegany County. In Allegany County the annual
fee for such a license shall be [One Thousand] Five Hun-
dred Dollars [$l, 000. 00] ($500. 00).

9 (K). (EXCEPTIONS) THIS SECTION SHALL
NOT APPLY TO BALTIMORE CITY NOR TO ALLE-
GANY, BALTIMORE, CHARLES, GARRETT, HAR-
FORD, HOWARD AND ST. MARY'S COUNTIES, IN
ALL OF WHICH JURISDICTIONS SUCH LICENSES
SHALL NOT BE ISSUED.
