Provided, further, that each year thereafter every full-
time supervising teacher or supervisor of pupil personnel I
shall be entitled to receive an annual increase of $300 above
the required payment for the previous year until the fol-
lowing scale applicable to his or her years of teaching and
supervising service is reached, only to the extent that it
would not result in the salary received by any such super-
vising teacher or supervisor of pupil personnel I being in
excess of the amounts as required in this Section.

(e) Beginning with the school year 1955-56 a super-
vising teacher or supervisor of pupil personnel I having
completed at least one year of graduate work and meeting
the requirements for the appropriate certificate shall
receive $200 per year more than the scale as set forth in
sub-section (d) of this section.
(f) Beginning with the school year 1955-56, with the
approval of the State Superintendent of Schools county
boards of education shall pay to supervising teachers and
supervisors of pupil personnel II without degrees an
annual salary of $600 less than the scale as set forth in
sub-section (d) of this section.
(g) Beginning with the school year 1955-56, with the
approval of the State Superintendent of Schools county
boards of education shall pay to supervisors of pupil per-
sonnel II with degrees an annual salary of $400 less than
the scale as set forth in sub-section (d) of this section.
(h) Beginning with the school year 1955-56, each
supervising teacher or supervisor of pupil personnel I who
enters the public school system of any political sub-division
in Maryland shall receive a minimum salary equal to that
which is required to be paid to a supervising teacher or
supervisor of pupil personnel I haying equivalent expe-
rience and grade of certificate who is already in the public
school system of that political sub-division.
