more than twenty-one days, and a reissue of summons shall
issue for the defendant or defendants returned non est;
and on the trial day to which the case shall be so continued
the case shall be tried, whether or not all defendants have
been summoned. No judgment in personam shall be rend-
ered against a defendant returned non est. The plaintiff
shall, UPON PROPER PROOF be entitled to a judgment
in personam against each defendant returned as sum-
moned. As to each defendant returned non est, the plain-
tiff shall be entitled to a judgment in rem for the goods
replevied, one cent damages and court costs.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

(Senate Bill 134)
AN ACT to add a new Section to Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Kent County", sub-title "Rock Hall", to follow after
Section 336 and to be designated as Section 336A, pro-
viding for the extension of the limits of the Town of
Rock Hall, and relating to the taxation of the property
included within said limits by this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section be added to Article 15 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Kent County", sub-title "Rock Hall", to follow after Sec-
tion 336, to be designated as Section 336A, and to read as
follows:
336A. The Corporate limits of the Town of Rock Hall,
Kent County, Maryland, in addition to the boundaries of
said Town as now established, shall, from and after June 1,
1953, include all the lands embraced in the following limits,
to wit:
