To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
210 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1951 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at a Special Election held on Mon-
day, June 22, 1953, in the Town of Upper Marlboro, Prince
George's County, Maryland, an Act known as Chapter 208 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1953 was submitted to
the voters of the Town of Upper Marlboro, for the adoption
or rejection, under the provision of Chapter 208 of the Acts
of 1953, said Act being:
"An Act to add Sec. 1411 to the Code of Prince George's
County (1943 Ed.) providing that the Town of Marl-
boro, may acquire by condemnation the interest of
any person in land and setting forth the procedures".
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 38 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 208 of the Acts of 1953
and 20 votes were cast against the adoption of the said Act;
and a majority of the votes being cast in favor of the adop-
tion of Chapter 208, the same has, therefore, been ratified by
the voters of the Town of Upper Marlboro, Prince George's
County, Maryland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-
