title "Workmen's Compensation", sub-title "Application
of Article; Extra-Hazardous Employments", said new
paragraph to be known as Paragraph (45B) and to
follow immediately after Paragraph (45) of said Sec-
tion 20, bringing all employees of County Board of Edu-
cation and the Board of School Commissioners of Balti-
more City and all public school employees in the State
within the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation
Laws.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new paragraph be and it is hereby added
to Section 20 of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Workmen's Compensa-
tion", sub-title "Application of Article; Extra Hazardous
Employments", said new paragraph to be known as Para-
graph (45B), to follow immediately after Paragraph
(45A) of said section, and to read as follows:
20.
(45B) All employees of County Boards of Education and
of the Board of School Commissioners of Baltimore City
and all public school employees in the State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1954.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
27 of Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Merit System", providing certain
sets of circumstances under which automatic increases
in compensation shall not be paid to state employees and
relating generally to the payments of such automatic
increases.
