ing the maximum compensation allowed for temporary
total disability.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 35 (2) of Article 101 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Workmen's
Compensation", sub-title "Claims and Compensation; Bene-
fits", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

35.

(2) (Temporary Total Disability.) In case of temporary
total disability, sixty-six and two-thirds per centum of the
average weekly wages shall be paid to the employee during
the continuance thereof, but not to exceed a maximum of
[Thirty-two Dollars] Thirty-five Dollars per week, and not
less than a minimum of Fifteen Dollars per week, unless the
employee's established weekly wages are less than Fifteen
Dollars per week at the time of the injury, in which event
he shall receive compensation equal to his full wages; but in
no case to continue more than six years from the date of the
injury or to exceed Five Thousand Dollars in the aggre-
gate. Nothing in this Act shall be construed or applied to
affect or change the law as to any such injury or strain
which occurred prior to the effective date of this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1954.

(House Bill 61)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 298 (a) of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Testamentary Law",
sub-title "Register of Wills", as said section was
amended by Chapter 435 of the Acts of 1953, relating to
the salaries of certain Registers of Wills in this State.
