Should the answer of such applicant be in the affirmative
to each such question, it shall be the duty of said Board to
allow such applicant to register. But should such applicant
refuse to answer all such questions, or should the answer of
such applicant be in the negative to any such question, then
such applicant shall not be allowed to register. Should any
applicant answer any question falsely, he shall be guilty of
the crime of perjury and subject to the penalties provided by
the law of the State of Maryland. Any applicant who feels
that he has been aggrieved by any ruling of said Board as to
Ms eligibility to register, may appeal to the Circuit Court for
Wicomico County, which Court shall determine such appeal.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 263
(Senate Bill 7)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 475 to 478, inclusive, of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City and
Baltimore City Charter (1949 Edition), title "Baltimore
City", sub-title "Licenses", and to add nineteen new Sections
to Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Ed.
and 1947 Supplement), title "Licenses", to be under a new
sub-title "Private Detectives", said new sections to be known
as Sections 75 to 91, inclusive, 91A and 91B, and to follow
immediately after Section 74BA of said Article as said Sec-
tion 74BA was enacted by Chapter 743 of the Acts of 1949,
relating to the licensing of private detectives on a State-
wide basis.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Sections 475 to 478, inclusive, of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City and Baltimore
City Charter (1949 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Licenses", be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That nineteen new sec-
tions be and they are hereby added to Article 56 of the Anno-
