CHAPTER 186
(Senate Bill 283)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
said new section to be known as Section 84H and to
follow immediately after Section 84G of said Article,
as said Section 84G was amended by Chapter 678 of the
Acts of 1949, relating to the disposal of trash in Charles
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 9
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Charles County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", said new section to be known as Section 84H,
to follow immediately after Section 84G of said Article,
as said Section 84G was amended by Chapter 678 of the
Acts of 1949, and to read as follows:
84H. The County Commissioners are hereby authorized
to set aside certain areas of land in Charles County to be
used for the purpose of a dump and to employ such per-
sons, at salaries to be fixed by said Commissioners, as are
deemed necessary to effectuate the disposal of trash in
said County. Lands suitable for such use may be acquired
by purchase, condemnation or otherwise and the County
Commissioners are hereby authorized and empowered to
levy an amount sufficient to cover the cost of said acqui-
sition.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
