SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 177

(Senate Bill 231)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 249 and 250 of Article 18 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Jurors, " and to
enact in lieu thereof two new Sections 249 and 250, to
follow immediately after Section 248 of said Article,
relating to the reapportionment of the jurors to be
selected from the several election districts of Queen
Anne's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 249 and 250 of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Jurors, " be and they
are hereby repealed and that two new Sections 249 and 250
be and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to, follow
immediately after Section 248 of said Article, and to read
as follows:

249. It shall be the duty of one of the judges of the
Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County, not less than fif-
teen days before the commencement of each term of the
court at which jurors are required to attend, in the pres-
ence of such practising members of the bar of said court as
shall think proper to attend, notice of time and place hav-
ing first been given to said bar through the crier of said
court, to proceed to select from the list last furnished by
the clerk of the County Commissioners as provided in Sec-
tion 248 of this Article and from the poll-books of the sev-
eral election districts of this county which shall have been
returned and filed in the Clerk's office of said court after
any general election last held previously to such selection,
a panel to consist of the names of 150 persons in said
county of the age prescribed by law, to be fairly and impar-
