spectively, extending the boundaries of the Town of Gaithers-
burg.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1947 Edition)
and to the Code of Montgomery County (1950 Edition), being
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Gaithersburg", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 431A and Section 107-3A, respec-
tively, to follow immediately after Section 431 and Section
107-3, respectively, and to read as follows:
431A. (107-3A. ) The boundaries of the Town of Gaithersburg
are hereby extended to include the following area, which is
added to said Town: Beginning for the same at a point on the
northerly side of the public road leading from and known as
Diamond Ave. in the Town of Gaithersburg, Montgomery
County, Maryland, to Quince Orchard where the same is inter-
sected by the present existing Corporate Limit Line, and run-
ning thence with the northerly side of said public road, west-
erly 280 feet more or less to the intersection of said road with
the easterly line of Chestnut Street, thence crossing said
Chestnut Street, still with the northerly line of said public
road, westerly 270 feet more or less, thence leaving said road,
northerly with the dividing line between the lands of Harold
Ward and the property now occupied by Edgar M. Douglass
340 feet more or less, to the said existing Corporate Limit Line,
thence bounding therewith, southeasterly, 705 feet more or less
to the place of beginning.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
