tracts in a westerly direction to the point of beginning at
the northwest corner of the Cheverly properties, all as
shown on the plats of the Cheverly and colony subdivisions
and additions thereto, and recorded in the land records of
Prince George's County, Maryland.

WARDS

189. The Town of Cheverly shall be divided into six
wards, which shall, respectively, comprise the territory
contained within the boundaries of the town and the
centerline of the streets, named as follows:

First Ward: Northern boundary, Cheverly Avenue, In-
wood Street and western boundary.

Second Ward: Inwood Street, Cheverly Avenue, Euclid
Street, and western boundary.

Third Ward: Euclid Street, Cheverly Avenue, in a south-
erly direction around Cheverly Circle, Parkway, lines be-
tween lots 17 and 18 of block G, eastern boundary, center-
line of right-of-way of Pennsylvania Railroad, Tuxedo
boundary, and western boundary.

Fourth Ward: Centerline of right-of-way of Pennsyl-
vania Railroad, and all land south thereof.

Fifth Ward: Inwood Street, Sixty-third Avenue, east-
ern boundary, line between lots 17 and 18 of block G, Park-
way, in a southerly direction around Cheverly Circle, and
Cheverly Avenue.

Sixth Ward: Northern boundary, eastern boundary,
Sixty-third Avenue, Inwood Street, and Cheverly Avenue.

OFFICERS

190. The Government of the Town shall be vested in
a Mayor, and six (6) Councilmen, the latter to be resident
one in each of the six wards of the town. Neither the
mayor, nor the councilman shall hold any other remunera-
tive office under the town during his term of office, neither
shall they, nor any officer of the town, either directly or
indirectly through the medium or agency of other persons,
enter into a contract or contracts with the town, nor derive
any pecuniary benefit from such a contract or contracts;
nor be reimbursed, nor receive any compensation of any
kind from the town other than the remuneration herein-
after provided for in Section 193.

191. The mayor of the town shall be not less than thirty
years of age, a citizen of the United States, a registered
