dollars [($2, 500. 00)] ($8, 500. 00) for the use of the Organized
Volunteer Fire Companies of said Somerset County. The said
sum shall be divided into three parts and paid annually to
the Treasurers of the following Companies in the manner fol-
lowing; that is to say, to the Treasurer of the Crisfield Volun-
teer Fire Company [one] three thousand dollars [($1, 000. 00)]
($3, 000. 00), to the Treasurer of the Princess Anne Volunteer
Fire Company [one] three thousand dollars [($1, 000. 00)]
($3, 000. 00), to the Treasurer of the Marion Volunteer Fire
Company twenty-five hundred dollars [($500. 00)] ($2, 500. 00).
The money so appropriated and paid to the aforesaid Fire
Companies shall be used by the said Companies only for the
purpose of purchasing and repairing fire apparatus and equip-
ment; provided, however, that no payments shall be made to
any company which has any regulations or resolutions limiting
the territory within which it will respond to calls. Provided
also, that the said County Commissioners shall not pay any
part or all of such amounts unless they shall determine that
each company respectively shall have need of the same; and
any part of such amounts not paid to any such company
during any year shall revert to the general funds of the
County
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
102 of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Garrett County", sub-title "Coun-
ty Treasurer", as said section was amended by Chapter 75
of the Acts of 1941, relating to the dates for payment of
taxes and for interest and discounts thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 102 of Article 12 of the Code of Public
