(e). All streets, avenues, alleys and roadways lying within
the areas by this section, annexed to the City of Takoma Park
which have heretofore been legally constituted streets, roads,
avenues or alleys, shall be held to be validly constituted
streets, roads, avenues and alleys of the City of Takoma Park.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 1188 of the
Montgomery County Code (1947 Edition), (being Section
104. 3 of the 1950 Montgomery County Code) and Section 1294
of the Prince George's County Code (1943 Edition), titles
"Montgomery County, " and "Prince George's County, " sub-
title "Takoma Park, " be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

(House Bill 143)
AN ACT authorizing and empowering the County Commis-
sioners of Harford County to borrow upon the faith and
credit of Harford County a sum of money not to exceed
One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100, 000) at a rate of in-
terest not to exceed five per cent and to issue notes, certifi-
cates of indebtedness and/or bonds therefor, for the purpose
of assisting in the physical improvement of the Harford
Memorial Hospital; and providing for the levying of taxes
by said County Commissioners to repay the loan and the
interest thereon, and exempting the interest payable thereon
from State, County and Municipal taxation and permitting
the County Commissioners to enter into an agreement with
the Harford Memorial Hospital for the purpose of re-im-
bursement of funds advanced under the powers hereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Harford County be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow at
such time or times as they may decide, upon the faith and
