amended by Chapter 554 of the Acts of 1947, increasing the
compensation of the Court Stenographer of Harford County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 174 of the Harford County Code (1942
Edition), being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Harford County", sub-title "Circuit Court",
as said section was amended by Chapter 554 of the Acts of
1947, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to 'read as follows:
174. The Circuit Court for Harford County is hereby author-
ized and directed to appoint a Court Stenographer, who shall
be a sworn officer of said Court, and said Stenographer so
appointed shall receive a salary of Three Thousand Six Hun-
dred [($3, 000)] ($3, 600) Dollars per annum, to be paid in
equal monthly installments as the jurors and bailiffs of said
Court are now paid. In consideration of the increased salary
provided to the Court Stenographer under this section, the said
Stenographer shall without any additional compensation, act
as secretary to the Court. He shall also act as librarian for
the Bar Library of Harford County, collecting all amounts
due the said library and paying the amounts due by it for the
purchase of books and supplies, and to enforce such regulations
as the Court may prescribe governing the use of the books in
said library.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to add 11 new sections to Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", said new sections to be known as Sections
304A-304K, inclusive, to follow immediately after Section
304 of said Article and to be under the new sub-title "Gales-
town", incorporating the Town of Galestown, in Dorchester
