SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 610
(Senate Bill 321)

AN Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section 37B (g) of Article 87 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Sheriffs", sub-title
"Compensation and Duties", providing that the Sheriff
of Cecil County shall receive annually the sum of $400. 00
for automobile expenses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section 37B (g) of Article 87 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Sheriffs, "
sub-title "Compensation and Duties, " be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

37B.

(g) The Sheriff of Cecil County shall receive an
annual salary of $3, 000, $3, 500, $400 for automobile ex-
penses and
$600 $900 for other expenses. The Sheriff shall
appoint a Chief Deputy who shall receive an annual salary
of $1, 600 $2, 100 and another deputy who shall receive an
annual salary of $1, 500 and each of said deputies shall
receive $600 annu
- $1, 800 AND EACH OF SAID DEPU-
TIES SHALL RECEIVE $900 ANNU- ally for traveling
and other expenses.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
