CHAPTER 78
(House Bill 19)

AN ACT to repeal Section 110 of Article 11 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Banks and Trust
Companies", sub-title "Bank Collection Code", said section
relating to provisional credits for deposited items.

WHEREAS, the subject matter of Section 110 of said Article
is covered more fully by Section 110A as enacted by Chapter
441 of the Acts of 1949, thus rendering Section 110 not only
unnecessary but also a possible source of inconsistency con-
cerning provisional credits; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 110 of Article 11 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Banks and Trust Com-
panies", sub-title "Bank Collection Code", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 11 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Banks and Trust
Companies", sub-title "General Regulations", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 102A, and to follow immediately
after Section 102 of said Article, relating to adverse claims
to money or other property held by banking institutions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
11 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Banks and Trust Companies", sub-title "General Regula-
