1680 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 558

Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
and said sections being known as Sections 117-2, 125-2, 122 3,
118-2, 120-2, 123-3, 124-2, 126-2 and 127-2, respectively, in the
Montgomery County Code 1950, title "Montgomery County",
sub-titles "Chevy Chase", "Martin's Additions", "Chevy
Chase Village",
"Chevy Chase—Section 3", "Chevy Chase--
Section 5", "Drummond", "Friendship Heights and 'The
Hills'", "North Chevy Chase" and "Oakmont", respectively,
providing for the approval by the County Manager and the
County Attorney of the corporate bonds given to Mont-
gomery County, Maryland, by the Treasurers of the respec-
tive areas.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Sections 62, 66, 76, 88, 105, 327, 417, 812 and 822 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1947
Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, and said sections being known as Sections 117-2,
125-2, 122-3, 118-2, 120-2, 123-3, 124-2, 126-2 and 127-2, respec-
tively, in the Montgomery County Code 1950, title "Montgomery
County", sub-titles "Chevy Chase", "Martin's Additions",
Chevy Chase Village", "Chevy Chase — Section 3", "Chevy
Chase—Section 5", "Drummond", "Friendship Heights and
'The Hills'", "North Chevy Chase", and "Oakmont", respec-
tively, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

62. The County [Commissioners of] Council for Montgom-
ery County [are] is authorized and empowered to levy and
cause to be collected from the property owners at the time
of the county tax levy for the year 1912 and each succeeding
year in each of the four separate sections or divisions of the
Village of Chevy Chase named or created by this sub-title of
this Article or such one or more thereof as shall have petitioned
as herein provided for amounts to be fixed by them as herein-
after provided on each one hundred dollars ($100) worth of the
whole assessable property in each of the four separate sections,
divisions or parts of the Village of Chevy Chase in Montgomery
County so petitioning, to be collected as other county taxes in
said county are collected, and to be paid over by the said
County [Commissioners] Council to the treasurer of a local
association already, or hereafter to be, incorporated under the
laws of this State, for each of such parts or divisions of said
village, upon said treasurer having been duly selected by such
incorporated association and giving [bond to the said county
commissioners, to be approved by the judge of the Circuit Court
for Montgomery County in a penal sum to be fixed by said
judge] corporate bond to Montgomery County, Maryland, sat-
