more City, " said new section to be known as Section 593A,
to follow immediately after Section 593 thereof and to be
under the sub-title "Police Commissioner, " providing that
any officer or employee of the Police Department of Balti-
more City who is a member of the "Special Fund" shall be
re-paid his contributions to such Fund in the event he
ceases to be such an officer or employee.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the
Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edi-
tion, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Baltimore City, " said new section to be
known as Section 593A, to follow immediately after Section
593 thereof and to be under the sub-title "Police Commis-
sioner, " and to read as follows:
593A. Beginning on January 1, 1952, any officer or employee
of the said Police Department who is a member of the said
Special Fund and who for any reason ceases to be such an of-
ficer or employee shall forthwith be paid by the Police Commis-
sioner a sum of money equal to that paid into the said Fund by
the said officer or employee during the time he served as such.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

(House Bill 601)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", sub-title "County Commissioners'',
said new section to be known as Section 166A, to be under
the sub-heading "Sidewalks", and to follow immediately
after Section 166 of said Article, conferring powers upon
the County Commissioners of Washington County relative
to sidewalks.
