permitted to qualify for such additional compensation on or
after June 1, 1951.
1. The County Commissioners of Frederick, Harford and
Kent Counties be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to pay to each teacher of said counties who has been retired
on pension and who receives less than f 100. 00 per month, an
additional $25. 00 per month, but in no event shall any pay-
ments be made to any teacher which will make the payments
more than $100. 00 per month. The County Commissioners of
Frederick, Harford and Kent Counties are furthermore auth-
orized and directed to levy a sufficient sum each year to pay
the increased pensions authorized by this Act. Provided, how-
ever, that in Harford County no person who has not qualified
to receive the compensation provided for hereinabove in this
section prior to June 1, 1951, shall be permitted to qualify
for such additional compensation on or after June 1, 1951.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
551A of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title
"Refuse—Throwing or Dumping", relating to the maintenance
of junk yards, public dumps and other places for the deposit-
ing of trash, junk or other refuse in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 551A of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punish-
ments'" sub-title "Refuse—Throwing or Dumping", be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
551A. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpora-
tion, either to maintain or permit to be maintained outside of
