SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take

AN ACT authorizing the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to appropriate for the fiscal year 1951 a
sum of money not to exceed $10, 700. 00 to meet the increase
in salaries of chauffeurs and relief chauffeurs of the several
fire departments in Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioner of Anne Arundel County
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to appro-
priate for the fiscal year 1951 only, from unappropriated sur-
pluses currently existing in the various district fire funds, a
sum of money not to exceed $10, 700. 00 in order to meet salary
increases of chauffeurs and relief chauffeurs of the several fire
departments in Anne Arundel County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.
