party but shall require that payment be made to the County
Treasurer.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

CHAPTER 407
(House Bill 565)

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Anne Arundel County (Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), 1947 edition, title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Treasurer", to follow immediately after
Section 581 of said Code of Public Local Laws and to be
known as Section 581A thereof, providing that when taxes
are delinquent the owner may not eliminate part of the prop-
erty from sale by partial payment of taxes but must pay the
entire taxes on the whole property.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County
(Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
1947 edition, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Treas-
urer", to follow immediately after Section 581 of said Code
of Public Local Law's of Anne Arundel County, to be known
as Section 581A thereof, and to read as follows:

581 A. When taxes are delinquent upon a tract of land or a
number of lots in a subdivision that appear on the Treasurer's
tax roll as a single account, and notice has been given under
any general or local law now or hereafter in force that said
property will be sold unless delinquent taxes are paid, there-
after the owner may not eliminate part of the property from
sale by partial payment of the delinquent taxes, but the Treas-
urer shall proceed to sell all property shown on said account
unless prior to sale all delinquent taxes on the whole property
have been paid with accrued interest and costs.
