THEODORE R. MCKELDIN, GOVERNOR 1157

Baltimore County (1948 Edition, being Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Baltimore County, "
said section being under "Title 2. Clerk of the Court" and
under the sub-heading "Plats, " be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

32. No plat shall be received for record by the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, unless the same is
drawn in ink [, printed or lithographed, upon tracing cloth
or linen or paper backed with linen not exceeding in dimen-
sion] or its equivalent. One of such plats shall be drawn on
tracing linen, and two other proofs shall be
submitted for
recording, the dimensions of all of which shall not exceed
36
inches in length by [34] 24 inches in width.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

Approved April 13, 1951.

CHAPTER 396
(House Bill 508)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
357 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-title "Public Service
Commission, " relating to the right of parties to proceedings
before the Public Service Commission to compel the attend-
ance of witnesses and production of records and to take
depositions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land,
That Section 357 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-title "Pub
lic Service Commission, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

357. (a) All subpoenas shall be signed and issued by the
commissioners or by the secretary of the commission, and may
be served by any person of full age. The fees of witnesses
required to attend before the commission or a commissioner
