missioners, and said County Commissioners shall annually
levy an amount sufficient to pay such additional allowance.
Provided, however, that the sum granted to any applicant by
the said County Commissioners shall be in such amount that
when added to whatever sum any such person is receiving
from the Employees Retirement System of the State of Mary-
land, the total amount shall not exceed one hundred dollars
($100. 00) per month. This section shall apply only in Anne
Arundel County, AND IN THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS.
WITH RESPECT TO AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF
ANNAPOLIS WHO IS RETIRED AND IS RECEIVING
ANY RETIREMENT ALLOWANCE UNDER THE PROVI-
SIONS OF THIS SUB-TITLE AND WHERE SUCH ALLOW-
ANCE IN THE AGGREGATE IS LESS THAN $100 PER
MONTH, SUCH EMPLOYEE SHALL RECEIVE AN ADDI-
TIONAL SUM NOT EXCEEDING $25 PER MONTH UPON
APPLICATION TO THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS, AND SAID MAYOR AND
ALDERMEN SHALL ANNUALLY LEVY AN AMOUNT
SUFFICIENT TO PAY SAID ADDITIONAL ALLOWANCE.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

(House Bill 181)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion and 1947 Supplement), title "Public Education", sub-
title "Chapter 2. Formation of Boards", said section having
been amended by Chapter 526 of 1949, and to add a new sec-
tion to said Article and sub-title, said new section to be
known as Section 7C, and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 7B thereof, as said section 7B was enacted by Chapter
526 of 1949, providing for the nomination and election of
the County Board of Education in Montgomery County,
changing the number of members thereof, relating generally
