WITHOUT OTHER CORPORATE ACTION, NOTWITH-
STANDING ANY LIMITATION ON THE NUMBER OF
SHARES AUTHORIZED BY THE EXISTING CHARTER
OF SUCH ASSOCIATION.
(b). Any homestead or building association shall have
power in its certificate of incorporation or in its by-laws, to
limit the number of shares which each stockholder may be
allowed to hold, to prescribe the entrance fee to be paid at the
time of subscribing, and the instalments to be paid on each
share, not exceeding one dollar per share per week, and the
times at which the same shall be paid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1951.

(House Bill 165)
AN ACT to add four new sections to the Anne Arundel County
Code (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "Fire Companies, " said new sections to be known
as Sections 332E—332H, inclusive, and to follow immed-
iately after Section 332D of said Article as enacted by
Chapters 535 and 558 of 1949, relating to the levy of a special
fire tax in the third precinct of the Third Election District
of Anne Arundel County, and providing for a referendum
thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, That four new sections be and they are hereby added to
the Anne Arundel County Code (1947 Edition, being Article 2
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Fire Companies, " said new sections
to be known as Sections 332E—332H, inclusive, and to follow
immediately after Section 332D of said Article, and all to read
as follows:
332D. (a) The provisions of this section shall apply to and
be effective in the third precinct of the Third Election District
of Anne Arundel County.
