to be known as Section 345D and to follow immediately
after Section 345C, relating to releases and partial re-
leases of powers of appointment.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 93
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law, " sub-title "Wills, " said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 345D and to follow immediately
after Section 345C, and to read as follows:
All releases and partial releases of any power or
powers of appointment created by any deed, testamentary
or other written instrument which shall heretofore have
been signed by the person possessing such power and
whose signature shall have been witnessed, but which may
not have been witnessed by more than one witness or which
may not have been recorded within the time or in the man-
ner prescribed in Section 345A of said Article shall never-
theless be deemed as valid and effectual as if all the pro-
visions of said Section 345A and Section 345B had been
complied with, provided that said releases are in other re-
spects in conformity with the law, and provided further,
that nothing in this section shall affect the interest of bona
fide purchasers or creditors without notice, who may have
become so previous to June 1, 1951.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (e) of Section 77 of Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Revenue
and Taxes", sub-title "Tax Sales", as amended by Chap-
ter 457 of the Acts of 1949, relating to fees for attorneys
representing the County Treasurer in connection with
tax sales.
