and impose the fine herein prescribed, but if either party
shall feel aggrieved by his judgment, there shall be a right
of appeal within ten days to the Court of Criminal Juris-
diction of any County if the trial is in the County, or the
Criminal Court of Baltimore City if trial is in Baltimore
City and such Court on appeal hear the case de novo. A
written order of appeal shall be filed with the Trial Magis-
trate by whom the judgment has been imposed. Upon the
appeal being prayed as aforesaid, it shall be the duty of
the Trial Magistrate to endorse upon the prayers "Appeal
Prayed" and transmit the same to the proper Court.
285 (e) Subject to the provisions of Sections 25A, 27B,
64, 74 and HOG of this Article, all monies received by the
Department pursuant to the provisions of this Article shall
be accounted for and remitted by the Department to the
State Treasurer who, after first paying, or retaining a
sufficient amount thereof to pay all refunds of motor
vehicle registration fees in this Article provided, all the
salaries and expenses of the Department and of the Traffic
Court of Baltimore City, the salaries and other expenses of
the State Roads Commission in enforcing the provisions
of this Article limiting weight, height, width and length
of motor vehicles, and costs in dismissed cases pursuant
to Section 270 of this Article, shall hold the balance of said
monies in a special fund hereby created and known as the
Motor Vehicle Revenue Fund, said fund to be thereafter
held and distributed in accordance with the provisions
applicable to said fund contained in Article 89B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any section
or provision of this Act shall be held invalid for any rea-
son, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the other
sections or provisions.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws, or
parts of laws, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act,
be and they are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1951.
