1948 Special Session, Chapter 35

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE

To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, John R. Reeves, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Edition) Do Hereby Certify, That a Special Election was
held in the Town of Mt. Airy, Carroll County, Maryland,
on June 30, 1949, and at such election an Act known as
Chapter 35 of the Special Session of 1948, was submitted to
the said voters of the Town of Mt. Airy, Carroll County,
Maryland, for their adoption or rejection, under the pro-
visions of Chapter 35 of the Acts of the Special Session of
1948, said Act being:

"An Act providing for the showing of movies on Sun-
day in the said Town of Mt. Airy".

And I Do Certify, That at said Special Election 293
votes were cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 35 of
the Acts of the Special Session of 1948, and 83 votes were
cast against the adoption of the said Act; and a majority
being in favor of the adoption thereof, it was therefore
ratified by the voters of the Town of Mt. Airy.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto sub-
scribed my name and affixed hereto my Of-
(Secretary of ficial Seal, at Annapolis this 19th day of
State's Seal) March, 1952.
