661 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), the Department of Tidewater Fisheries
shall not lease any of the submerged areas of this State
during the period from June 1, 1952, to June 1, 1953;
provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be
construed to affect or apply to any existing valid lease
made prior to and effective on June 1, 1952; AND PRO-
VIDED FURTHER, THAT NOTHING IN THIS SEC-
TION SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO AFFECT OR
APPLY TO ANY LEASE FOR WHICH APPLICATION
HAD BEEN MADE ON OR BEFORE MARCH 15, 1952.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1952.

CHAPTER 73
(House Bill 15)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
sections (d) and (e) of Section 60 of Article 66 1/2 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition—being
Section 55 of the 1947 Supplement), title "Motor Ve-
hicles," sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titl-
ing," relating generally to the use which may be made
of so-called "dealer plates" issued to registered dealers
in motor vehicles.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sub-sections (d) and (e) of Section 60 of
Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition—being Section 55 of the 1947 Supplement), title
"Motor Vehicles," sub-title "Administration—Registration
—Titling," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

60.

(d). [Registered dealers may use their dealer registra-
tion plates upon vehicles, owned by them, for the purpose
