AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
5(c) of Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
1951 Edition—being also Section 5(c) in the 1947 Sup-

PLEMENT, AS AMENDED),
AND SECTION 23 OF SAID ARTICLE (BEING SEC-
TION 24 IN THE 1947 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE
"STATE POLICE", INCREASING THE SALARIES
OF THE POLICE EMPLOYEES OF THE DEPART-
MENT OF MARYLAND STATE POLICE AND PRO-
HIBITING THE USE OF THE POLICE EMPLOYEES
OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR FEDERAL DEPART-
MENTS, AGENCIES OR COMMITTEES ESPECIAL-
LY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 5(c) of Article 88B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition, being also Section
5(c) in the 1947 Supplement, as amended), title "State
Police", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(c) Salaries to be paid to police employees of the De-
partment shall be as follows:
