MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS NO. 3

The following appropriation is made from the General

Funds of the State:

1 For the payment of rent of offices occupied by State De-
partments, Boards and Commissions in Baltimore City,
subject to the control of the Board of Public Works and
upon the recommendation of the Director of the De-
partment of Budget and Procurement, as provided by
Chapter 64 of the Acts of 1939........................      $310,000

The amount of $310,000 includes appropriations to the State Department of
Health in the amount of $25,000 and to the State Department of Public Wel-
fare in the amount of $17,500.

MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS NO. 4

The following appropriation is made from the General

Funds of the State:
1 To the Commissioners of the State Accident Fund for

Workmen's Compensation coverage on State employees      $98,845

MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS NO. 5

The following appropriation is made from the General

Funds of the State:

1 GENERAL EMERGENCY FUND: To the Board of Public
Works to be used by said Board in supplementing ap-
propriations made in the budgets for the fiscal year
1953 where it is found that the regular appropriations
are insufficient for the operating expenses of the
Government beyond those which were contemplated at
the time of the appropriation of the budgets for this
fiscal year, or for any other contingencies which might
arise during the fiscal year for which adequate pro-
vision has not been made in this budget.............      $500,000

MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS NO. 6

The following appropriations are made from the General
Funds of the State to become available immediately
upon the passage of this budget to supplement appro-
priations for the fiscal year 1952 or to provide funds
for the payment of obligations for which appropriations
are not already available:
1 Legislature, as follows:

SALARIES AND WAGES OF SENATE
4 Stenographer to Secretary of Senate, $12,00 per diem.. $ 60
