1	For Maryland's Assessment for Annual Expenses of the
	Conference of the Governors of the Country..........	$ 250
2	To Commissions created for the purpose of surveys, to be
	spent under the direction of the Governor............	17,500
3	To the Council of State Governments and other national
	organizations for expenses in connection with the
	participation of the State in the activities of those
	organizations .......................................	6,000
4	For publishing Constitutional Amendments, to be spent
	under the direction of the Governor..................	15,000
5	To the State Department of Health for the control of
	Epidemic and Pestilential Diseases, to be spent under
	the direction of the Governor........................	10,000
6	To the Governor's Commission on Interracial Problems
	and Relations.......................................	8,000
7	For printing of Maryland Reports......................	4,000
8	The Annapolis Fire Department........................	2,000
9	The Annapolis Sewerage Plant.........................	2,500
10	To the City of Annapolis for garbage collection, etc, as
	provided by Chapter 570 of the Acts of 1939..........	2,000
11	For the Maryland Development Bureau, to be spent sub-

13	To the Maryland State Firemen's Association for disabled

14	For scholarships and partial scholarships for Negroes, to
	be spent subject to the approval of the Board of Public
	Works upon recommendation of the Board of Trustees

15	Bureau of Harbors. To the Mayor and City Council of
	Baltimore City, the actual amount to be one-half of the
	cost of operating the iceboat "Annapolis", but not
	to exceed the amount named herein..................	35,000
16	To the War Memorial Commission. The actual amount
	to be one-half the cost of maintenance in connection
	with the War Memorial Building but not to exceed the
