The, now deposited in the Union Bank

of Maryland, and the Franklin Bank of

Baltimore, shall be deposited in some in-

corporated bank in Baltimore or else-

where, at the discretion of the Treasur-

er of the Western Shore, and upon con-

dition that such bank shall pay an inter-

est of not less than 5 per cent therefor,

and subject to the future control of the

General Assembly,
