Sec.

EDUCATION,— Who are authorised to procure by

individual subscriptions or otherwise, a

suitable school house, and report the

same, in writing, to the county commis-

sioners,

Whereupon it shall be the duty of the

paid commissioners to appropriate such

sums, out of the funds in their hands,

for purposes of school education, as in

their judgment may be necessary for tui-

tion only, in said district,

One of the trustees in each district to

be appointed treasurer therefor, to whom

said payment shall be made,

The trustees shall procure a teacher,

&c.

And pay him quarterly, &c.

Every child in the district shall be

admitted upon a perfect equality, and
