CHAP. 333.

under oath or affirmation, setting forth the fart of his
removal, and the in number of the ward to which he has
removed, and that he is still a duly qualified voter
within the City of Baltimore.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That if any person shall
knowingly, falsely make oath or affirmation, that he is
a duly qualified voter within any ward, or shall know-
ingly, falsely make oath or affirmation that other per-
son is a duly qualified voter within any ward, he shall,
upon conviction thereof before any county court in the

be sentenced to the Penitentiary, for not less than two
nor more than five years.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the said Registers to meet in their respective wards
on the Monday and Tuesday preceding the regular
State, election on the first Wednesday of October of
each year, for the purpose of making all proper correc-
tions in their respective lists of voters and finally con-
cluding the same, before handing them over to the said
judges of election; and the said registers, when so met
shall add unto their several lists the names of all per-
sons, not previously registered; who are or will be
entitled to vote, in their respective wards, at the elec-
tion on the said first Wednesday of October then en-
suing, who the said registers shall be satisfied, either
from their own knowledge or other testimony as re-
quired by this act, are or will be legally entitled to vote
at said election.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That in case any judge
of election within the city of Baltimore, shall, know-
ingly, permit any person to vote at the ward where he
is present and acting as judge of election, whose name
does not appear on the list furnished by the registers,
