SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the
Western Shore be, and he is hereby authorised and
required to pay over to the Treasurer of the Common
School Fund of Somerset county, or his order, all sum
or sums of money which are now, or may hereafter be
apportioned to Somerset county out of the common or
free school fund or funds of the State, or which may be
apportioned to said county out of the interest in the
State's portion of the surplus fund of the United States,
or which said county may he entitled to receive from
the State, for common school purposes from any fund
whatever.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the commissioners of
Somerset county be, and they are hereby required to
cause this act to be published in both the newspapers
printed in said county, for three successive weaks pre-

county commissioners, to whom the bills for printing
the same shall be presented, shall levy the same upon
the county, as in other cases of county expenses.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall have
no force or operation until the first Monday of June

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all laws of 1his
State inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be,
and the same are hereby repealed, so far as the same
