LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 9.

four, chapter two hundred and thirty-two, as a delinquent
under the provisions of the act of eighteen hundred and
twenty-seven, chapter one hundred and seventeen, they
shall be first satisfied, from other and competent testimo-
ny, that the party whose name is thus shewn by the sher-
iff, has failed within the last six months before the sitting
of the grand jury, to comply with the provisions of the
said original act, to which this is a supplement.

CHAPTER 8.

Passed Feb. 11
1840.

A supplement to an act, entitled an act directing that the
rules of the several courts in this State be published for
the information of the people.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That so much of an act passed at December
session eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, entitled an act
directing that the rules of the several courts in this State
be published for the information of the people, as requires
the clerks of the several courts therein mentioned and the
Register of the High Court of Chancery to publish the
rules of their respective courts once in every year, be and
the same is hereby repealed.

To publish eve-
ry five years.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Register of the
High Court of Chancery, and the clerks enumerated in
said act to which this is a supplement, be and they are
hereby required, according to the provisions of said act,
to cause the rules of their respective courts to be publish-
ed once in every fifth year, from the passage of this act;

and it shall be their further duty to keep a printed copy
of the rules of their respective courts set up in their re-
spective offices for the information of the public.

CHAPTER 9.

Passed Feb. 13,

1840.

A supplement to the act, entitled an ad relating to mort-
gages, passed at December session eighteen hundred and
thirty-three, chapter one hundred and eighty-one.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
