TREASURER W. S. — To pay Mary Waltman, widow of
Marshal Waltman, the half pay of a private,
To pay to the clerk of Allegany county


court $1, 008 15, to be paid over to the com-

missioners of said county, to defray the ex-

penses incurred in prosecuting the riots on

the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal,


To pay certain donations to the trustees of

the different academies in Kent county, &c.


To pay Clement Dorsey $12, 500 upon de-

livery by him to Stale Librarian of 500

copies compilation of the laws of Maryland,



To pay cleric of St. Mary's county $33 40
for fees due from State,


To pay Thomas C. Nichols and others and

John Parvin and others, such sum as appears

to be due them, &c. for attending Baltimore

city court in case of State against William

Stewart for murder of his father,


To pay clerks of the General Assembly,



To pay chief clerks of the legislature the

several amounts for newspapers and postage,



To pay messenger of Senate and Sergeant

at Arms $60 each, for taking care of the re-

spective rooms during recess, &c.


To pay per diem allowance to members of

the legislature detained by sickness, &c.


To pay Col. Charles M. Thruston militia

allowance to each member of companies en-

gaged in suppressing riots on line of Chesa-

peake and Ohio canal, said money to be paid

over to each captain, &c.


To transfer 59 shares of Farmers Bank

stock to credit of free school fund of Carroll

county standing to credit of Frederick coun-

ty, &c.


To pay Martha Wall, widow, the half pay

of a private, etc.


To pay William Long, revolutionary soldier

half pay of a private, etc.


To pay Gen. O. H. Williams for supplies
furnished troops etc. on an expedition against

the rioters on Chesapeake and Ohio canal, to

be paid by said Williams to claimants, etc.
