sioners to view the road from Philip Nico-
demus' mill, in Frederick county, to Chris-

tian Groves, in Baltimore county, &c. so far

as it passes through Carroll; to assess and

award such damages as they think right,

&c. and make return to commissioners of

tax, &c. the amount of money awarded, &c.

To levy one half of the money awarded

at next levy, and pay over to persons enti-

tled; the other half to be levied in 1841,

and paid, &c.

and be entitled to $2 per day, &c. for five
