ALLEGANY

COUNTY— Return of the assessment, etc.

of real and personal property of, to be

made on 1st Monday of April 1840, to

commissioners of, if ratified etc. said com-

missioners, or a majority at next meeting af-

-ter return, shall be valid, etc.

The 11th section of the act of 1838, ch.

215, for the reassessment, etc. of the real

and personal properly in, repealed,

Commissioners of, to allow compensa-

tion to persons who made out books and

papers for assessors, etc.

Commissioners of, etc. to levy on the as-

sessable property of the county, etc. such

sum of money as shall be necessary for fin-

ishing the court house,
