QUIETING

POSSESSIONS— Surveyor to return certifi-
cate of survey, with certificate that the appli-

cation, &c. and requirements of this act, have

been complied with, certificate to be evidence,

&c. to the land office of the shore on which

the land lies, to be delivered to the exami-

ner, and if imperfect, to be returned to the

surveyor; if it pass examination to be re-

corded by the register of the land office, &c.

register to make out patent and transmit it

to the chancellor, for approbation, etc.

RAIL

ROADS — Any person causing any obstruction to

be placed on, calculated to overthrow or

divert from the track, any car, etc. shall be

deemed guilty of felony, and upon convic-

tion, to be sentenced to the Penitentiary for

not less than two nor more than ten years,

If the death of any person be occasion-

ed by the overthrow of any car, etc. produ-

ced by placing any obstruction on any rail

road, the person so placing, etc. shall be

deemed guilty of murder,

If any person break, etc. in any manner

any rail road, or bridge attached to any

rail road, with intent to overthrow any

car, etc. such person so offending to be

subject to all the penalties prescribed, of
persons guilty of the offences specified in

the first section; and ii in consequence of

such breaking, etc. death ensue, the party

offending to be deemed guilty of murder,

and subject in all respects to same penalties

as prescribed against persons offending

against second section,
