shall not be reduced below the rates in

the act incorporating the company,

Hereafter the number of directors of,

shall be reduced to nine, viz: two elect-

ed by stockholders — two from the city of

Baltimore, and five by the State.

On acceptance of this act by the, and

filing said acceptance and mortgage

pledging the whole work and the. reve-

nues thereof, with the Treasurer W. S.,

together with their obligation, &c., for

repayment of principal by the year 1864,

and payment of interest, from time to

time, in advance; together with costs of

transportation to London, and also the

difference of exchange, if any — and of

costs; the said Treasurer shall issue and

deliver to, — the bonds of the State to the

amount of the sum of $1, 000, 000, &c.
