An act to make valid the Diplomas granted by the Medi-
cal Facility of the University of Maryland, from
eighteen hundred and twenty-six, up to April, eigh-
teen hundred and thirty-nine.

Confirmation.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the Diplomas granted to Graduates by the
Medical Faculty of the University of Maryland, from
eighteen hundred and twenty-six, up to April, eighteen
hundred and thirty-nine, be, and the same are hereby
declared to be valid, any law to the contrary notwith-
standing.

An act to incorporate the Maryland Shot Tower Com-
pany.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Henry S. Sanderson, James Wilkes,
jr., George Gordon Belt, Thomas Whitridge, Thomas
Wildey, John I. Gross, Samuel G. Hyde, and such
other persons as may be hereafter associated with
them, shall be, and they are hereby incorporated and

made a body politic and corporate, under the name and
style of the Maryland Shot Tower Company, for the

Objects defined.
|
purpose of manufacturing and vending shot, and prose-
cution of all such other operations as may grow
out of, or be connected with the said business and the
said corporation, under the name and style of the Ma-
ry land Shot Tower Company, is hereby invested with
all the rights and privileges and powers conferred up-
|
|
|
Under the general
law.

on such companies, by an act entitled an act prescrib-
ing general regulation for the incorporation of manu-
facturing and raining companies, passed the twenty-
eighth day of March, eighteen hundred and thirty-
nine, and the said company is hereby made subject to
the restrictions and regulations prescribed in said act.

Capital stock.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of
said company shall not be less than ten thousand dol-
lars, nor more than twenty thousand dollars, to be di-
