Sec. 6. And be it enacted. That the regents of the
University of Maryland, shall, under their corporate
seal, and the signatures of their provost and several
professors, make an annual report on the first day of
January, or within ten days thereafter, of the condi-
tion and prospects of said institution, stating among
other things the number of students therein instruct-
ed and an enumeration of the different departments of
science therein taught, with a full and detailed state-
ment of the accounts thereof showing the proper re-
ceipts and expenditures of said regents.

John W. E. Sudler, Lemuel Roberts, Joseph M.
Smith, W. H. Hackett, Benjamin Coppage, George N.
Newman, Vincent Offley, John W. F. Jackson, Mar-
cus Hardcastle, Samuel J. Jarman, Daniel Smith,
William H. Foster. Samuel Bostick, Wesley Peters,
John A. Hall. James Hall, Washington Finley. Joel
Clements, Shepard C. Draine, Charles Adams, Lewis
H. Beatty, James P. Dudley, Perre McNeil, James
Temple, William Temple, William Coleman, Luther
