CHAPTER 224.

1839.

An act to divorce Sarah Wareham, of Washington
County, from her husband William Wareham.

Divorce.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sarah Wareham, of Washington
county, he, and she is hereby divorced from her hus-
band, William Wareham, a mensa et thoro.

Rights restored.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Sarah Ware-
ham, be, and she is hereby considered and declared, a
feme sole, for all and every legal purpose whatever,
and that all her rights, powers and privileges, which
existed previous to her marriage, be, and they are
hereby revived and restored, except that of again mar-
rying within the life time of her present husband.

CHAPTER 225.

Passed April 2,
1839.

An act to concur in the provision of an act passed by the
Senate and House of Representatives, of the State of
Delaware, in General Assembly met, entitled) an act
for making partition of the lands and real estate of
which James Lawson Clayton, died, seized.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Richard Mansfield, Cuthbert S. Green, and
Charles Tatman of the State of Delaware, and Ben-
jamin F. Slayter and Joseph Bryan of the State of
Maryland, commissioners named in, and appointed by
an act, passed by the Senate and House of Represent-
atives of the State of Delaware, in General Assembly
met, February the sixth, Eighteen hundred and thirty-
nine, at Dover, in said State, entitled "An act for ma-
king partition of the lands and real estate of which James
Lawson Clayton, died, seized, " be and they are here-

Authorised to in-
clude in partition,

&c.

by authorised to include in their division and partition,
under the provisions of said act, all such lands of
which the said James Lawson Clayton, died, seized,
lying and being in the State of Maryland, and the par-
tition which said commissioners may make, when duly
confirmed, as provided by said act, of the State of Del-
aware, shall be valid, to all intents and purposes to
