low to the keeper of the poor's house aforesaid, whose
duty it shall be to superintend the silk culture afore-
said, such percent, on the prints arising therefrom, as
they in their judgment may believe Ms extra services
shall be worth.

Surplus profits.
|
Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That whenever the pro-
fits arising from the silk culture, as aforesaid, shall
be more than sufficient to defray the expenses thereof,
such surplus shall be applied towards defraying the
general expenses of the institution hereinbefore men-
tioned.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John Smith, of the City of Baltimore, be, and he
is hereby divorced from his wife Margaret Smith, a
vinculo matrimonii.
