VIII. AND BE IT ENACTED, That no person shall fell, or offer for sale, any musket, or any of the
accoutrements thereof, the property of the state of Maryland, under a penalty not exceeding the sum
of twenty-five dollars for each offence, to be recovered, in the name of the state of Maryland, before
a justice of the peace, as small debts are recovered, which fines shall be applied as follows: The one
half to the informer, the other moiety to be paid over to the paymaster of the regiment or extra bat-
talion within whose regimental or extra battalion district the offence shall have been committed.

IX. AND BE IT ENACTED, That all such parts of the said act to which this is a. supplement, as
are in any manner repugnant to, or inconsistent with, the provisions of this act, be and the same
are hereby repealed.

An ACT to authorise the levy court of Prince-George's county to
assess and levy on the assessable property of said county a sum of
money for the purposes therein mentioned.

WHEREAS a number of inhabitants of Prince George's county have, by their petition to this ge-
neral assembly prayed, that a law may pass authorising the levy court of said county to lay a tax
on the inhabitants thereof for the purpose of repairing a causeway and erecting two bridges across the
Eastern branch, adjoining the town of Bladensbourgh; and the said prayer appearing reasonable, therefore,

II. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the justices of the levy court of
Prince-George's county be, and they are hereby authorised and required, if in their judgment they
shall think if expedient and proper, to levy on the assessable property of said county a sum ©f money
not exceeding the sum of four hundred dollars, for the purpose of repairing a causeway and erecting
two bridges across the Eastern branch, adjoining the town of Bladensburgh.

A Further additional supplement to the act, entitled, An act for
marking and bounding lands.

WHEREAS the act to which this is a further additional supplement does not extend its pro-
visions to lands held for life or lives, nor to lands held under lease for five years, and it appear-
ing just and proper that the privileges and provisions contained in said act be extended to lands held
for life or lives, and also to lands held by lessees for years, under a certain limitation; therefore,

II. BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, the several county courts within this state shall have power and authority, under such limitations
and directions its are prescribed in the act, and the supplements thereto, to which this is a further
additional supplement, to grant and issue commissions for the purpose of marking and bounding
lands, where the same may be held by lessees for life, or for years, and where the unexpired term of
the last mentioned lease shall amount to twenty one years or upwards, provided the leases under
which the lands arc held shall have been duly executed and recorded.

III. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the commissions thus to be granted, when duly executed and re-
turned by the commissioners, and confirmed by the county court, as is prescribed by the original act to
which this is a further additional supplement, shall have the same effect, to all intents and purposes,
as if the provisions of the said original act had extended to the cases herein mentioned; provided,
that nothing herein contained shall. be construed to affect the right, title or interest, of any rever-
sioner or remainder, in and to the land so to be marked and bounded.

An ACT to authorise and empower the levy court of Queen-Anne's
county to assess and levy a sum of money for the purposes therein
mentioned.

BE IT ENACTED, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the bailiffs and constables of Queen-
Anne's county, while attending the county courts, shall each receive two dollars for every day
he may attend t he same.
