No deduction &c. in the amount for which

   

any person may have been assessed, shall be

   

allowed, if made after the period mentioned

   

in preceding section, unless such person

   

shall have aliened &c, the property pro-

   

posed to be deducted as provided by 38

   

and 39th sections of original act, and then

   

only in the mode &c., upon the proof therein

   

prescribed, or unless such deduction &c.

   

shall have been made in conformity with

   

the opinion of the court of appeals as di-

   

rected by 34th section of original act,
