Resolution in favor of Andrew Slicer and Samuel Peaco
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer pay to Andrew Slicer and Samuel Peaco,
the messager and door-keeper to the Senate, the sum of
fifty dollars each, in addition to their pay, as further com-
pensation for their services.

Resolution in favor of Thomas Gaither and George E.
Gambrell.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the State pay to Thomas Gaither and
George E. Gambrell, each the sum of four dollars, as a
compensation for their services as assisting engrossing
clerks at the present session.

Resolution directing the Libraiian to furnish certain Insti-
tutions with the Books therein named.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the State Librarian be, and he is hereby authorized and
required, to furnish to the Librarian of "The Frederick
Literary Association" to the Librarian of "The Mechan-
ic's Circulating Library of Cumberland," to "The Car-
roll county Lyceum at Westminster" and "The Howard
Lyceum at Ellicott's Mills' severally, one copy of the fol-
lowing books, Convention of Maryland," "Dorsey's Testa-
mentary Laws," "Kelly's Statute" and "Bozman's Mary-
land."

Resolution directing commission to issue to James A.
Pearce, as Senator in Congress.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Governor be requested to issue a commission in the
usual form to the Honorable James Alfred Pearce, as Sena-
tor from this State, to the Congress of the United States,
for the term of six years from the fourth of March eigh-
teen hundred and forty-three.
