CHAP. 129.

Notice to be
given

county the docket or dockets kept by him, within thirty
days after this act shall go into operation.
Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the commissioners of Dorchester county, to publish in the
newspapers of said county this act, for three successive
weeks.

peal secured

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That each party shall have
and exercise the same right of appeal to the county court,
and in the same manner as is now allowed from the judg-
ments of single justices of the peace.

 

CHAPTER 128.

An act to authorize the Clerk of Harford County Court, to
record a Deed therein mentioned, and to make the same
valid.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the clerk of Harford county court, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to record a deed
from Nancy McClosky, of the city of Philadelphia, to
Paul McClosky, of York county, in the State of Pennsyl-
vania, now of Harford county, in the State of Maryland,
dated the twenty-first day of March, eighteen hundred and

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That from and after the actu-
al record of said deed, it shall be good and operative to
convey the property therein mentioned, according to the true
intent and meaning of said deed.

An act to make valid certain Deeds to Bernard Gilpin, of
Montgomery County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a deed from James Hook to Bernard Gil-
pin, of Montgomery county, dated the twenty-ninth day of
April, eighteen hundred and thirty-four, and acknowledged
by him and his wife Catharine Hook, before W. A. Leonard
and James Hunter, be and the same is hereby declared to
be good and effectual, to pass the interest and estate of the
said James Hook, his heirs, and the right of dower of his
said wife,, in and to the lands and property therein mention-
