the property and particulars thereof, lying

without the limits of direct taxation and

within the exterior limits of the city of Bal-

timore, with an alphabetical list of all per-

sons concerned; and a complete detail of

all their proceedings, etc. and all lists, etc.

received by them from individuals of the

particulars of property held or under his

charge; and if any of said assessors cannot

discover the owner of any property within

their county, etc. they shall value and de-

scribe the same is the property of some

person unknown,

VALUATION AND ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY

IN THIS STATE— Separate returns to be made out for

each election district, with the names of the

taxables, arranged and properly valued, etc.

and whenever an assessment district shall

contain within it an incorporated town, the

assessors to distinguish in their returns, the

. property of such town, etc.

The Treasurer of the Western Shore to

prepare and transmit to the clerks of the

courts, etc. as many forms of a return of

the assessment, as may furnish each asses-

sor, levy court, board of commissioners

and appeal tax court with one copy, and

the county clerks on the receipt thereof, to

deliver them to the levy courts, etc. who

shall retain one copy and deliver one to

each assessor; return to be made according

to said form,

That from the third Monday of October

until the day appointed for heating appeals,

etc. some one of the members of the levy

court, etc. with their clerk, and of said ap-

peal tax court, to attend daily at the pla-

ces of meeting of such bodies; etc, for the

purpose of showing the valuation to any

person holding or owning properly, etc. and

of furnishing extracts, etc.
